Purpose - To provide opportunities to develop godly habits, healthy relationships and a passion for the work of God through small groups so that the life of Christ will be manifested through all.
At Macedonia, our motto is "Building the church of God, one disciple at a time". That is what we do. Our small group ministry, which we call Life Groups, is the primary method of discipleship we use to build disciples.
A Life Group is a group of disciples who live life together for the purpose of Christ-centered worship, edification, relational evangelism and discipleship in order to give glory to God. Consequently we would expect that the same attributes of a disciple would manifest themselves in community. It is a group of disciples who find their identity in Christ, who worship Jesus together, who care for one another and spur each other toward godliness and who own the mission to see more people glorify God. A Life Group is not an event. It is a lifestyle of discipleship, shared lives with Gospel intentionality.
